Been listening to this on repeat. Any Dean Blunt release is interesting enough to be worth a listen and this album is a standout, doubling down on his strengths as an idiosyncratic songwriter. It features some of the most lush and accessible material Dean Blunt has put out without any loss of the intrigue that comes with it. This and the original Black Metal are the best introduction to a fascinating artist whose work rewards repeated listens.
